However taking these types of diet causes some side effects. This is due to the loss of amount of nutrients that our body is already used to receive. Some people taking a diet would usually feel the following side effects:

When taking a diet, we lose some fat and there is also some possibility that you are losing some muscles. This in return affects your health. This loss of muscle is sometimes the result that you would see when there is a significant drop in your weight when taking a diet. Because of this, it is therefore best to combine regulating your diet while doing activities that will help you to maintain or even increase your muscle and strength. Having your ideal weight and body would usually equate to maintaining your muscles while losing excess fats.
There are cases that even a combination of diet and exercise does not work for a person in order to lose weight. In this case, there must be underlying problem that causes them to gain weight even if they are already following all the diet and exercise tips that they could get. These problems might be due to genetics, medical reasons or psychiatric illness that is difficult to control. Aside from diet and exercise, medical attention and surgery might be needed to solve the problem.
Diet alone would help in losing the weight that you want but would most of the time leave you feeling weak, starving and unhealthy. Because of this feeling, you might not be able to stick to it. The best way to lose weight is to burn more calories than what you are taking in. Eating the right food with the combination of exercise helps your body to function well and eliminate unwanted elements.
