The 3 Body Types – Which Body Type are You

Each body has its own peculiar system that works perfectly for grace, appearance and beauty. As you eat your meals, your body is working something within, following a set of coded information to develop your muscles with the same body system. As you exercise, your body develops muscles and tissues that are peculiar from one body to another.

There are three main body types – endomorph, mesomorph, and ectomorph. Each of these body types has its character and system to follow. In entirety, your body type tells the formation of your bones and muscles as well the coordination that you will have.

Of the three body types – which type are you in?

Endomorph

Endomorphic people would probably have soft bodies with a rotund built. It is considered that most of the body mass for endomorphic people are developed right in the abdomen with less concentration on other parts of the body.

The lower parts of the body are considered underdeveloped with the legs and feet appearing to be small. Arms and shoulders are good source of energy and power due to its massive muscle build up. In the process, endomorphic people would likely to be good in upper body exercises and activities with little support from the lower parts.

Most of the time, an endomorph develops a long body waist which is comparative to the body figure. In fact, endomorphic people look stalk because of the long waist but shorter hands or arms.

On the other hand, most of the endomorph has smooth skin and fine hair. It should be noted that endomorphic people tend to have the best of a spherical head with a well rounded face as accentuated by the exact body parts.

Mesomorph

Considered as the special body type, mesomorphic people have well developed muscles complemented with large bones. They are considered to have the best body type that is best for athletes and other physical extremist.

The upper body part of mesomorphs is strong and can greatly hold appearance. In fact, the strong facial expression, as shaped by a well defined cheekbone and other facial muscles, complements the over all appearance of the person.

Muscles in the arms and shoulders are clear. Most body builders are considered to classify in the mesomorphs. Even the singular parts of the hands like fingers do contain the best muscles that are taking a big part in the system.

Mesomorphs do gain weight faster than other body types. And they can also easily take a regimen to lose the weight. Moreover, the body muscles of the mesomorphs can easily be build with the best body regimen and exercise.

The skin of most mesomorphs is thick with the best appearance that will give you a deep breathe.  Mesomorphs can also easily take the best of getting tan in complexion. The hair appears to be thick and can definitely complement the shape of the strong facial expression.

Ectomorph

Of all the body types, ectomorph is considered as the most fragile body type. The body of an ectomorph person does not easily build up muscles. In fact, it is hard for an ectomorph to have a clear body part with the best physical appearance. Muscles are not formed well with weak joints that cannot support any further activity.

An ectomorph is viewed as the slender and slim perfect. The neck appears to be longer with longer arms and legs. It is viewed as big thing that delicately affects the the body functions of the ectomorph person. Plus, an ectomorph person loses the best of body balance due to some factors in muscles and joint formation.

It is hard for an ectomorph to gain fat. High body temperature is really a big problem to an ectomorph. For an ectomorphic person to develop muscles and gain fat, determination is an important matter to do.
The chest of the ectomorph is flatter with the worst of lean body.

The Combination

It is hard to qualify a person in one single body type. Most often, a combination of the body types determine the person’s body component. You can easily find the combination of endomorph and mesomorphs.

Any of the combination can be greatly developed with the right food regimen combined with the best of physical exercises to enhance muscle build up. However, if you cannot keep up with the effort, it is better to visit your physician or dietician to help you determine the best regimen for you.
